Henry and I went camping in Talladega National Forest (Oakmulgee District) down south an hour or so. The weather was perfect and I would like to live there for a while. Henry loved it, and also loved when a few days before we went to
Cheaha State Park, at the southern end of the Appalachians. He swam, and hiked, and felled many trees, like Paul Bunyan. Henry is an outside dog, and I am an outside boy. We get along great. We saw a young'n bald eagle, red-shouldered hawks, and an adorable little southern devil scorpion. Oh, Betsy came too and took these pictures (at Oakmulgee):
